Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Plan for at least half a day to fully appreciate Chaelundi Falls. The walk from the car park is only about 1 km each way, but the rough track takes 30–45 minutes each way. Add time for swimming, photography, and simply soaking up the atmosphere. If you're keen on exploring more of the national park, consider an overnight stay at the campground. The falls are best visited after rain when the water flow is strongest, but the track can be muddy – wear sturdy shoes.
