Dorrigo National Park is a lush World Heritage-listed rainforest wonderland on the New South Wales mid-north coast, part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. Just an hour's drive west of Coffs Harbour, this park offers a breathtaking escape into ancient, verdant wilderness with crystal-clear creeks and dramatic waterfalls. For international travellers, it's a must-do detour on a Sydney-to-Brisbane road trip or a day trip from Coffs Harbour.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Dedicate at least half a day to explore the park’s highlights – the Skywalk and a short rainforest walk can be done in 2–3 hours. For a fuller experience, plan a full day to hike the Wonga Walk (3–4 hours) and visit Dangar Falls. If you're keen on birdwatching or photography, consider an overnight stay at the Dorrigo Mountain Resort or camping at the nearby Never Never picnic area (no camping in the park itself).
