The Kiama Coastal Walk is a stunning 22-kilometre trail that hugs the dramatic cliffs and beaches of the New South Wales South Coast. Starting from the iconic Kiama Blowhole, this walk offers sweeping ocean views, lush rainforest pockets, and historic lighthouses. It's a perfect day-long adventure for nature lovers and photographers, with plenty of spots to stop for a swim or a picnic.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Allow a full day (6–8 hours) to complete the entire walk at a leisurely pace, with stops for photography, swimming, and lunch. If you're short on time, the section from Kiama Blowhole to Cathedral Rocks (about 8 km return) offers the best highlights in 3–4 hours. Start early in the morning to avoid the midday heat and catch the blowhole at its most active.
