Kings Canyon

Kings Canyon is a dramatic chasm carved into the red sandstone of Watarrka National Park, about 300 kilometres southwest of Alice Springs. If you're on a tight schedule, a half-day (morning or late afternoon) can still be rewarding, but you'll miss the full experience. Overnight stays are popular to catch both sunset and sunrise.
