Suggested Time to Spend

Most walkers tackle the Illawarra Escarpment Walk in two to three days, breaking it into manageable sections of 10–15 km per day. Allow at least a full day for the best highlights if you’re short on time, focusing on the Mount Keira to Minnamurra Rainforest stretch. The track is well-marked but can be steep in places, so wear sturdy shoes and carry plenty of water.
