Bilbari National Park

Bilbari National Park is a pristine coastal wilderness on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, offering a serene escape into dense rainforest, dramatic gorges, and secluded beaches. This park is a haven for nature lovers and hikers, with its ancient Antarctic beech trees and the haunting calls of lyrebirds echoing through the gullies.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Half a day is sufficient to tackle the main lookout and a short rainforest walk, but a full day allows you to explore the gorge and combine a beach visit. For serious hikers, the longer trails (up to 8 km) can be done in a full day, with a picnic lunch by the river. The park is best visited in the cooler months (April to October) when the humidity drops and the paths are less slippery.
