It’s a favourite among hikers and nature lovers seeking a rewarding climb without the crowds of bigger-name peaks.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors spend half a day (3–4 hours) including the hike and time at the summit. If you’re keen on photography or a relaxed picnic, add another hour. The hike is best tackled in the morning to avoid the midday heat and for the clearest views. It’s a great stop on a road trip between Sydney and Byron Bay, or as a day trip from Port Macquarie or Laurieton.
