Barrenjoey Headland, a rugged sandstone outcrop at the northern tip of Sydney's Palm Beach, offers some of the most spectacular coastal views in New South Wales. This wild, windswept promontory is home to the iconic Barrenjoey Lighthouse, built in 1881, and is a haven for hikers, history buffs, and nature lovers. The headland is part of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, and its dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, and lush bushland make it a perfect day trip from Sydney or a stop on a Hunter Valley road trip.
