Kondalilla National Park is a lush rainforest sanctuary in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, named after the stunning Kondalilla Falls. This park offers a refreshing escape into ancient Gondwana rainforests, with cool swimming holes and dramatic gorges. It's a paradise for hikers and nature lovers, with well-maintained trails leading to breathtaking lookouts and cascading waterfalls.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors spend half a day exploring the park, allowing 2–3 hours for the main Kondalilla Falls Circuit. If you want to swim and have a picnic, plan for 3–4 hours. For a more leisurely experience, combine a morning walk with a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots. The park is best visited in the cooler months (April–October) when the water is still flowing and the humidity is lower.
