Perched on the sapphire edge of Twofold Bay, Eden is a salty, soulful harbour town where the bush meets the deep blue. This is whaling history, killer-whale legends, and some of the finest seafood on the NSW Sapphire Coast. You’ll feel the ocean in your bones here – from the morning mist over the bay to the sight of migrating humpbacks breaching offshore. It’s a place to slow down, breathe in the kelp-scented air, and reconnect with the wild.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Two full days is ideal – one for the museum and town, another for exploring Ben Boyd National Park and the coastline. If you’re on a road trip, you can cover the highlights in a single overnight stop, but you’ll be tempted to linger. Morning is best for whale watching (May–November); afternoons are for seafood and a lazy beach walk.
