Dorrigo National Park is a lush, World Heritage-listed rainforest sanctuary in the heart of the Gondwana Rainforests. Just an hour's drive from Coffs Harbour, this park offers an immersive escape into ancient ferns, towering palms, and cascading waterfalls. The air is thick with the scent of damp earth and bird calls, making it a paradise for nature lovers and hikers.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Dedicate at least half a day to explore the park's main highlights. A morning spent on the Skywalk and Crystal Shower Falls loop (about 1.5 hours) can be followed by the Never Never walk and a picnic lunch. If you're keen on longer hikes, plan for a full day – the 5 km Wonga Walk combines waterfalls and rainforest. The park is also a great stopover on a drive between Sydney and Brisbane.
