Maitland Bay is a secluded coastal gem within Bouddi National Park on the Central Coast of NSW, offering a perfect blend of serene beaches, dramatic coastal walks, and rich Aboriginal heritage. This sheltered bay, with its clear waters and sandy shore, is a favourite for kayaking, snorkelling, and picnicking away from crowds.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors spend a half-day here, which allows for a relaxed beach visit and a short section of the coastal walk. If you want to hike the full Bouddi Coastal Walk (which can be done as a one-way trip with a car shuffle or bus), plan for a full day. Combine with a picnic lunch – there are no cafés directly on the beach.
