Dorrigo National Park is a lush, ancient rainforest in northern New South Wales, part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. Just an hour's drive from Coffs Harbour, it offers a serene escape into a world of towering trees, cascading waterfalls, and rich birdlife. The park's cool, misty atmosphere and well-maintained walking tracks make it a must-visit for nature lovers and hikers.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors can experience the park's highlights in a half-day (3–4 hours). Arrive early to enjoy the Skywalk at sunrise, then tackle the Crystal Shower Falls or Never Never Walk. If you have a full day, combine the Wonga Walk with a picnic at the picnic area near the visitor centre. The park is best visited from spring to autumn when the weather is mild and the waterfalls are flowing.
