Greenly Beach

Greenly Beach is a wild, remote stretch of sand on the Northern Territory’s west coast, far from the tourist trail. This is the Red Centre meets the Timor Sea – think rust-red cliffs, turquoise waters, and a sense of absolute solitude. It’s the kind of place you come to feel the raw power of the ocean and the desert in one breath.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Plan at least half a day for the round-trip from the Stuart Highway, including time to explore the beach and have a picnic. If you’re camping or fishing, a full day or overnight stay is ideal. The drive itself is an adventure, so factor in stops along the way.
