This iconic gap is one of the most accessible and photogenic spots in the Red Centre, offering a glimpse into the ancient landscape and its deep cultural significance to the Arrernte people. The sheer walls rise above a permanent waterhole, creating a serene oasis that contrasts with the surrounding desert.
