Mon Repos, just east of Bundaberg, is one of Australia’s most significant turtle rookeries and a must-visit for wildlife lovers. Each summer, from November to March, loggerhead, green, and flatback turtles haul themselves ashore to nest, and later the hatchlings scramble to the sea under the stars.
