Suggested Time to Spend
Dedicate at least a full day to Dorrigo to explore the national park’s walks and waterfalls. If you’re self-driving the Waterfall Way, an overnight stay allows you to experience the rainforest at dawn or dusk, when birdlife is most active and the mist rolls through the valleys. Two days gives you time to also visit nearby reserves like New England National Park or simply soak up the mountain atmosphere from a local café.
