Plunging 100 metres into a fern-lined gorge, Ebor Falls is one of the New South Wales highlands' most dramatic natural spectacles. Located within Guy Fawkes River National Park, this two-tiered waterfall thunders over ancient basalt columns, creating a misty spray that catches the light on sunny afternoons. The site is a favourite stop for travellers driving between Sydney and Brisbane, offering a refreshing dose of untamed nature without a long detour.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors spend 45 minutes to an hour here, which is enough to take in both lookouts and soak up the scenery. If you're keen on a longer visit, combine it with a walk along the Guy Fawkes River or a picnic – half a day feels unhurried. The falls are at their most powerful after rain, but the basalt columns and gorge views are impressive year-round.
