Lake Eucumbene is a vast, man-made reservoir in the Snowy Mountains, created as part of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme. It's a haven for anglers, with its crystal-clear waters teeming with brown and rainbow trout, and offers serene landscapes that change with the seasons—from snow-capped peaks in winter to golden shores in autumn. The lake's remote setting and starry night skies make it a peaceful escape for nature lovers and self-drive adventurers exploring the High Country.
