Prince Henry Cliff Walk

Perched on the edge of the Jamison Valley, the Prince Henry Cliff Walk is one of the Blue Mountains' most spectacular short walks, offering uninterrupted views of the Three Sisters, Mount Solitary, and the forested gorge below. This 7-kilometre track between Leura and Katoomba is a classic for first-time visitors and bushwalkers alike, combining easy graded paths with jaw-dropping lookouts.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Allow 2–3 hours to walk the full 7 km one-way from Leura to Katoomba, or about 4–5 hours return with stops for photos and picnics. Most walkers prefer to start at Leura and finish at Echo Point, catching a bus or taxi back. For a shorter experience, do the 2 km section between Leura Cascades and Gordon Falls in 45 minutes. The track is well-maintained and suitable for most fitness levels, though there are some steps and uneven sections.
