Just south of Byron Bay, Suffolk Park is a laid-back coastal village that offers a quieter, more local alternative to its famous neighbour. With a stunning stretch of beach, a handful of excellent cafes, and easy access to the Cape Byron walking track, it's the perfect base for travellers who want the Byron Bay experience without the crowds.

- Suffolk Park Beach – a beautiful, uncrowded beach ideal for swimming, surfing, and long walks. The southern end is popular with local surfers.
- Cape Byron Walking Track – start or finish the 3.7 km coastal walk from Suffolk Park to Byron Bay's iconic lighthouse. Keep an eye out for dolphins and migrating whales (June–November).

If you're using it as a base for Byron Bay, you could easily stay 3–4 days, alternating between beach time and day trips to surrounding areas.
