Sarangani Bay, a stunning indentation on the southern coast of Mindanao, is a paradise of pristine beaches, vibrant marine life, and rich cultural heritage. This protected seascape offers some of the best diving and snorkeling in the Philippines, with crystal-clear waters teeming with colorful coral reefs and exotic fish. The bay is also a haven for whale sharks, which can be spotted between November and June. Beyond the water, the surrounding communities welcome visitors with warm hospitality and a taste of local life.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Allocate at least three to four days to truly experience Sarangani Bay. Spend the first day exploring the main beaches and snorkeling; dedicate a full day to a whale shark tour (seasonal) and island-hopping; and use the remaining time for cultural visits or simply relaxing. If you're pressed for time, a two-day itinerary can cover the highlights, but you'll miss the deeper immersion.
