Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Dedicate at least 3–5 days to explore the park properly. Use the town of Cauterets or Luz-Saint-Sauveur as a base. Spend your days hiking different valleys – one day for the Cirque de Gavarnie, another for Pont d'Espagne and Lac de Gaube, and a third for a longer trek like the GR10. If you have less time, prioritize the Cirque de Gavarnie and Pic du Midi.
