Whether you ascend by funicular or on foot, this peak delivers an unforgettable alpine experience.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Half a day is ideal: take the funicular up early, spend an hour or two soaking in the views and exploring the summit trails, then descend for lunch in Lugano. If you're hiking up, allow a full day with plenty of water and sturdy shoes. Sunset visits are best in summer when the last funicular descends around 8 pm.
