Mon Repos Turtle Hatchery

Just east of Bundaberg, Mon Repos Turtle Hatchery is one of the most significant marine turtle rookeries in the South Pacific. Each summer, endangered loggerhead, green, and flatback turtles haul themselves up the same beaches where they were hatched to lay their eggs.
