Lenzerheide is a stunning alpine resort in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, offering year-round outdoor adventures amidst breathtaking mountain scenery. This car-free village (parking is outside the centre) is a haven for hikers, bikers, and skiers, with a serene lake at its heart and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. The region’s blend of Romansh and Swiss-German culture adds a unique charm, and the local cuisine—think hearty cheese dishes and alpine herbs—is a delight after a day on the trails.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Plan for at least two full days to experience Lenzerheide’s highlights. One day can be dedicated to hiking or biking in the mountains (take the Rothorn cable car early), and the second to exploring the lake and lower trails. If you’re skiing or snowboarding in winter, three to four days will allow you to cover the well-linked ski area. The resort is compact, so you can easily pace yourself with leisurely meals at mountain huts.
