High in the French Pyrenees, Lac de Cap de Long is a stunning alpine reservoir that feels like a secret of the mountains. Surrounded by rugged peaks and dramatic cliffs, this deep blue lake offers a true escape into nature. The drive up is an adventure in itself, winding through narrow roads with breathtaking views. Once there, you'll find a peaceful setting perfect for hiking, photography, or simply soaking in the raw beauty of the Pyrenees.

If you're keen on longer treks or want to explore the Cirque de Troumouse and Pic du Midi, plan for a full day. The area is best visited from June to September when the roads are clear of snow.
