Kowloon Peak, the highest point in Kowloon, offers one of Hong Kong's most exhilarating hiking experiences. This rugged trail rewards with sweeping views of the city, Victoria Harbour, and the distant South China Sea. A challenging but rewarding climb, it's a favorite for sunrise trekkers and photographers seeking that perfect shot of the urban landscape from above.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most hikers should allow 3–4 hours for the round trip from the nearest trailhead, including time to soak in the views at the summit. If you're planning to catch the sunrise, start at least 1.5 hours before dawn. The climb is steep in sections, so pace yourself and bring plenty of water. For a more relaxed visit, combine the hike with a picnic lunch on the summit.
