Ping Shan Heritage Trail
Winding through the ancient walled villages of the New Territories, the Ping Shan Heritage Trail offers a captivating glimpse into Hong Kong's rural past. This 1.6-kilometre walking route connects centuries-old ancestral halls, temples, and watchtowers, set against a backdrop of modern high-rises — a striking contrast that defines the region. It's an ideal half-day excursion for history buffs and photographers alike, easily reached from central Hong Kong by MTR.
