Once a dormitory for married police officers, PMQ has been reborn as a buzzing creative hub in Central, Hong Kong Island. This heritage-listed complex now houses a curated collection of design studios, concept stores, art galleries, and pop-up exhibitions, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in contemporary local culture and craftsmanship. The restored 1950s architecture, with its original stairwells and open courtyards, provides a serene backdrop for browsing one-of-a-kind souvenirs or catching a rotating exhibition. PMQ is also home to a handful of excellent cafés and restaurants, perfect for a mid-shopping break.
