Eze

Perched on a rocky peak high above the Mediterranean, Eze is a medieval hilltop village that feels frozen in time. Its cobbled streets, stone archways, and lush gardens offer sweeping views of the Côte d'Azur. This is a place to wander aimlessly, discover hidden art galleries, and soak up the fragrance of jasmine and lavender that drifts through the air.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Half a day is sufficient to explore the village and its main sights. Arrive early (before 10am) to enjoy the quiet streets before the crowds arrive. Combine with a visit to the Jardin Exotique (allow 45 minutes) and a leisurely lunch at a terrace café. If you want to include the Fragonard perfumery, add another hour. Most visitors find 3–4 hours plenty, but sunset lovers often linger for the golden light over the sea.
