This World Heritage-listed park offers a deeply immersive nature experience, with walking trails that wind through towering brush box and Antarctic beech forests, past crystal-clear creeks and lookouts that stretch to the coast. It’s a place for hikers, birdwatchers, and anyone seeking solitude in one of the country’s most biodiverse landscapes.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Buderoo National Park is best explored over a full day, allowing time for a couple of main walks and a picnic. If you’re an avid hiker, plan for two days and camp overnight at Rummery Park to experience the dawn chorus and sunset colours. Most visitors spend 4–6 hours here, combining the Forest Tops Walk with a visit to Minyon Falls. For a quick visit, a two-hour loop to Protesters Falls and the lookout is rewarding.
