Antelope Canyon, on Navajo land near Page, Arizona, is a slot canyon of surreal beauty. Its flowing, wave-like sandstone walls, sculpted by flash floods over millennia, create a photographer’s paradise with shafts of light dancing through narrow openings. This is a place where nature’s artistry feels almost otherworldly.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Plan about half a day for Antelope Canyon itself – a 1–1.5 hour guided tour through either upper or lower canyon is typical. Add another 1–2 hours for Horseshoe Bend and a stop at the Glen Canyon Dam. For a relaxed pace, combine with an overnight stay in Page, allowing time for a sunset boat tour on Lake Powell.
