Easter Saturday (Holy Saturday) is observed the day before Easter Sunday. It is a public holiday in six of Australia's eight states and territories: New South Wales, ACT, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. It is not a public holiday in Western Australia or the Northern Territory.
