Port Fairy is a historic fishing village on Victoria's Shipwreck Coast, where bluestone cottages and a working harbour meet wild beaches and abundant wildlife. This is a place to slow down: wander the streets lined with Norfolk pines, watch fishing boats unload their catch, and feel the salt air that has inspired artists and writers for generations. The town’s well-preserved 19th-century architecture and relaxed atmosphere make it a perfect coastal retreat.

Two to three days is ideal to soak up the atmosphere, explore the beaches and Griffiths Island, and enjoy the town's excellent seafood restaurants. If you're on a Great Ocean Road itinerary, a night here is a must – it's the perfect place to break the journey between Warrnambool and the Twelve Apostles.
