Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Allow 2–3 hours for the return walk, which is about 4.5 km (2.8 miles) round trip. The trail is rated moderate, with some rocky sections and a gentle climb. Combine this with a stop at nearby waterholes like Ellery Creek Big Hole for a full day of exploration. Start early in the morning to avoid the midday heat and to enjoy the waterhole before it gets busy.
