Perched on the easternmost point of mainland Australia, Cape Byron Lighthouse is a stunning 1901 heritage lighthouse that offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The walk to the lighthouse through lush rainforest and coastal heath is a highlight, with opportunities to spot dolphins, whales (May–November), and sea turtles. The iconic white tower against the blue sky makes for a classic Australian photo op.
