On the Coffs Coast, Dolphin Marine Conservation Park is a family-friendly wildlife sanctuary dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine animals. Unlike many commercial marine parks, this one has a strong conservation ethos – you can get up close to dolphins, seals, and penguins while learning about the threats they face in the wild. It’s a place where entertainment meets education, and the animals’ welfare is clearly front and centre.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors spend 2–3 hours, which allows time to watch the main presentations, explore the exhibits, and grab a bite at the café. Arrive early to catch the first dolphin show and avoid crowds. If you book an interactive encounter, add another 30–45 minutes. The park is compact, so it’s easy to combine with a morning at the beach or a coastal walk.
