Nestled in the Upper Hunter region, Eden Valley is a serene landscape of rolling vineyards, historic homesteads, and untouched bushland. This pocket of the Hunter Valley offers a quieter, more intimate wine country experience, where boutique cellar doors and farm-to-table dining take centre stage against a backdrop of dramatic escarpments and eucalypt forests.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Eden Valley rewards a relaxed pace. Allocate a full day to visit three or four cellar doors, enjoy a long lunch at a vineyard restaurant, and take in the lookout. If you're based in the lower Hunter, it's an easy half-day detour, but staying overnight in a nearby B&B lets you soak up the valley's evening tranquillity and starry skies.
