Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Give the park at least three to four days to truly soak in its grandeur. Spend the first day exploring the Cirque de Gavarnie and the second on the Pic du Midi and Lac de Gaube. Use a third day for a longer hike in the Vallée d'Ossau or a drive along the Route des Cols. If you're a serious hiker, allocate a week to tackle sections of the GR10 or GR11. The park is best visited from June to September when trails are snow-free.
