Elnido

El Nido, the crown jewel of Palawan, is a breathtaking archipelago of limestone karsts, hidden lagoons, and powdery white-sand beaches. This is the Philippines at its most dramatic: towering cliffs plunge into turquoise waters, secret beaches are accessible only by boat, and the vibrant marine life makes it a world-class snorkeling and diving destination. Whether you're paddling through the Big Lagoon, island-hopping to hidden coves, or simply watching the sunset from a beachfront bar, El Nido delivers an intoxicating blend of raw nature and laid-back island life.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors spend 4 to 5 days in El Nido, which allows for two full days of island-hopping (Tours A and C are the most popular), a day relaxing on Nacpan Beach, and another exploring the town’s dining scene or taking a sunrise hike up Taraw Cliff. If you have more time, add a day trip to the remote beaches of Duli or Marimegmeg, or learn to dive with one of the local PADI centers. Pace yourself with a mix of active excursions and lazy beach afternoons – the heat and humidity can be intense.
