Tasman National Park

On the wild, wind-sculpted Tasman Peninsula, Tasman National Park is a dramatic showcase of sea cliffs, dolerite pillars, and turquoise coves. The roar of the Southern Ocean echoes against 300-metre-high rock faces, while the famous Tessellated Pavement and Tasman Arch reveal nature's artistry. This is a place for coastal walks, wildlife spotting (seals, seabirds, and occasionally whales), and sheer awe.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors allocate a full day to drive the park's main sights and do a couple of short walks. If you plan to hike the Three Capes Track, allow 3–4 days for the full guided or independent experience. A half-day is enough to hit the key natural attractions like Tasman Arch and the Tessellated Pavement, but you'll want longer to truly absorb the coastal drama and perhaps join a wildlife cruise.
