Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors spend a full day exploring one of the two main sections – O'Reilly's or Binna Burra – which offers a satisfying taste of the park's highlights. For a more immersive experience, plan for two to three days: hike the Border Track between the two sections (a challenging 21 km one-way) and stay overnight at one of the lodges or campgrounds. This allows time for night walks, birdwatching, and relaxing in the rainforest. If you're short on time, a half-day visit can still include the Tree Top Walk and a short waterfall hike.
