Suggested Time to Spend

Most travellers spend just a few hours in Pine Creek, stopping for a meal or to explore the heritage precinct. If you want to do some gold panning or visit Umbrawarra Gorge, plan for half a day. To fully appreciate the area's natural attractions, including the hot springs and nearby Kakadu, allow at least one full day.
